Memorial Park - Bridgetown
Referred to by locals as the 'Boat Park', Memorial Park located opposite the tourist centre is perfect for a picnic or friendly game of cricket. The park has a playground, barbecue facilities, large grassed areas and public toilets.
A highlight is the reconstruction of the wooden barque "Bridgetown". In the 1860s this clipper was the first vessel to load wool from the Bridgetown district at Bunbury, and this resulted in the town's name.
The War Memorial, designed by the late Gordon Holdsworth, is one of the many examples of the artist's work in Bridgetown.
