Return to Wyndham

As Wyndham was the port where cattle was taken to be shipped from, it was fitting that the Drovers Memorial was erected to commemorate the pioneer drovers of the north who braved many hardships and lost their lives to bring cattle to the meatworks.

The Drovers Memorial is a bench monument outside the Prison Department in the port.
