The Border Ranges World Heritage Area lies 30km north and offers excellent views, waterfalls, deep gorges, clear creeks and steep escarpments. Highlights of the park's eastern section are the Pinnacle Rock formation and the view from Blackbutt Lookout. The Rainforest Botanical Gardens are located alongside Fawcetts Creek. Existing rainforest was enhanced and developed to create the gardens, which are well worth visiting. Parking is available near the tennis courts on Summerland Way.
