DESTINATION: Temora
The rail centre for the rich wheat and sheep belt of the Riverina, Temora is located 460km SW of Sydney. The town is also recognised as a centre for harness racing and there are many trotting studs in the district. Races are held regularly. Main AttractionsTemora has a range of sporting clubs and venues. For the adventurous, a skydiving company operates from the airport. Visitors are welcome at the Temora Ex-Services Memorial Club, the Bowling Club and the Golf Club. |
