DESTINATION: CaloundraCaloundra is 95km north of Brisbane, it is one of the Sunshine Coast's most urbanised centres with a busy shopping district and a wealth of beautiful beaches. Main AttractionsThe many beaches include: Golden Beach and Bulcock Beach, for boating, fishing and safe swimming; Kings Beach is a patrolled surfing beach with a fenced saltwater pool; Shelley Beach is a fishing beach with rock-pools, but not safe for swimming; Moffat Beach is good for fishing and walking along; and Dicky Beach is a patrolled surfing beach with BBQ facilities and playground. Queensland Air Museum is at the airport and open daily. Scenic flights of the surrounding area are also available from the airport. |

Aussie World and the famous Ettamogah Pub are 16km NW. The Australia Zoo, home of TV's Crocodile Hunter, is located 25km west of Caloundra.
