Main Beach is just north of Surfers Paradise and boasts a sophisticated, yet casual, beach lifestyle. Main Beach is located near a long sandbar known as the Spit. The Spit divides the Broadwater from the Pacific Ocean and is popular with surfers and fisherman alike. There are also several dive sites nearby including the Scottish Prince shipwreck.
