This attractive town is located in the foothills of the Connors Range, 36km south of Mackay. Main AttractionsThe Rose Gardens, located in Broad St, form part of the Sarina Tourist Art and Craft Centre complex which is housed in the old Court House in Railway Sq. The centre offers arts and crafts and local and regional information. The Field of Dreams is a historical museum in Broad St. Waterways in the area yield barramundi, flathead, whiting, bream, grunter, salmon and cod. Prawns and crabs are plentiful in season. |

Other beaches include Armstrong, Grasstree, Salonika and Half Tide. Cape Palmerston NP is located 78km SE, but offers 4WD access only.
