Angaston

A picturesque rural town in the rolling countryside of the Barossa Valley, Angaston is a showcase of colonial architecture. In 1841 the town was named after George Fife Angas an early settler and large landholder.

Main Attractions

The tree-lined main street, Murray St, is lined with art and craft shops and tearooms. Visit the Angas Park Fruit Co and try some of the local produce. Around the corner is Artfully Yours Studio and Gallery for local arts and crafts. A shady park with picnic and BBQ facilities adjacent to Angaston Creek complements the village atmosphere of this little town.
