Cleve

The large rural district surrounding this Eyre Peninsula town produces mainly wheat and sheep. Cleve is a neat and interesting town surrounded by rolling hills. First settled in 1883 as Wangaraleednie Station by Scotsman James McKenzie and his brothers, the farming community grew and eventually the town of Cleve was proclaimed.

Main Attractions

Recreation areas fringe 3 sides of the town and include an 18-hole golf course, sports ovals, swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts and a bowling green.
