Fruit can be bought in season from roadside stalls and at pick-your-own-fruit farms. Apples carved into character heads are novelties at Glen Huon's Appleheads Village. The Huon Apple and Heritage Museum at Grove, 6km NE, displays an astonishing 500 varieties of apples. Snowy Ranges Trout Fishery, 25km NW, allows anglers to catch their own trout from a series of ponds.
