St Leonards

A coastal town on the Bellarine Peninsula, 110km south of Melbourne, St Leonards has long been a popular holiday destination for people from Melbourne. The town is twinned with Indented Head, another small holiday destination just 4km north.

Main Attractions

St Leonards has many sheltered beaches ideal for swimming, boating and other watersports. Harvey Park Foreshore is a popular family recreation area overlooking Port Phillip. Just south of town, Duck Island State Fauna Reserve is a waterbird habitat and one of the few remaining homes for the rare orange-bellied parrot.
