Most popular photosNearby attractionsLions Lookout, 4km from town, has sweeping views of the bay. Bountiful wildflowers bloom at Cockleshell Gully, 31km north, a reserve popular with bushwalkers and photographers. Lesueur NP, 23km NE, has more than 900 species of flora and is one of the most important flora reserves in the state. It also has a lookout with amazing views. Stockyard Gully NP, 50km north, is 4WD accessible only, and has a 300m ancient underground tunnel walk, requiring torches. Tours are available. The coastal Nambung NP, 40km south, contains the remarkable limestone pillars, The Pinnacles. Dated at 30 000 years old, the beautifully weathered calcified spires vary from 1 to 4m in height and cover approximately 400ha of variably coloured sandsin an area known as the Pinnacle Desert. Driving conditions should be confirmed and organised tours operate daily. West of the Brand Hwy, Badgingarra NP has a worthwhile 2km walk through heathlands. latest stories
