Manjimup

Wooden arches welcome visitors to Manjimup, 129km SE of Bunbury, and gateway to the tall-timber country of the jarrah and karri forests of the South West region of Western Australia. Founded in 1910 to exploit the forest resources, this is both a timber town and thriving agricultural centre.

Main Attractions

The town's principal attraction, Manjimup Timber Park complex is a theme park museum with highlights such as Bunnings Age of Steam display, an historical reconstructed hamlet, the state's only Timber Museum and a working blacksmith. The town's natural assets can also be enjoyed by bushwalking, fishing, or on a forest or ecology tour.
