Bordering the Murchison goldfields and Midwestern wheat farms and sheep-stations, Perenjori lies on the Wubin-Mullewa Hwy or 'Wildflower Way', 352km NE of Perth.

Perenjori Museum displaying pioneering memorabilia is located behind the tourist centre in Fowler St. On Carnamah Rd is the Catholic Church of St Joseph, another architectural creation of Monsignor John Hawes.

Spectacular spring Wildflower Trails are a must July-Oct. Situated 47km east is Camel Soak, a waterhole utilised originally by Aboriginal peoples and later by travelling camel trains. The 180km Perenjori-Rothsay Heritage Trail traces the area's gold-mining history visiting old mining areas and gold ghost towns. Gold and gemstone fossickers are often well rewarded for their efforts. Waterbirds can be seen at Mongers Lake, a salt lake 50km NE.
