Susan DeLong

Ardrossan B & B Mudgee Accommodation Ardrossan is a large double brick country homestead 1 k from the edge of town, with huge covered grapevine fringed verandahs, overlooking an idyllic pastoral scene of cattle grazing in pastures, surrounded by beautiful blue and green mountains. Ed and Susan DeLong, your hosts, bought the property in 2001 and have made extensive renovations including addition of a lake with two islands, an ornamental fishpond and hundreds of trees and beautiful roses. Susan was born in Hay and came to Mudgee with her family in 1961. She has spent the last 32 years as a top-ranked radio talk show host primarily in Philadelphia, America’s fourth largest city, and in Washington DC. Ed is a journalist who worked in America for newspapers and for United Press International wire service before establishing his own marketing and public relations company. He spent 3 years as editor and chief of staff of the Mudgee Guardian Newspaper and is now the media officer for Midwestern Council in Mudgee. When people ask us whether we miss living in America, we answer "No." Mudgee offers a charm and delightful lifestyle that is hard to find anywhere. Look at the Ardrossan B&B picture gallery and you’ll see why we love it so much. Come and stay with us and you’ll love it too.
