Return to Jabiru

During the months of June through to October, join rangers to learn about the landscapes, wildlife, local history and culture of Kakadu National Park.

Catch a free daily art site talk at Ubirr and Nourlangie Rock or join one of the guided walks which may be available throughout the Park.

Mamukala Wetlands Walk is a journey of birds and wetlands, whilst Bardedjilidji Sandstone and River Walk is a sandstone excursion near the East Alligator River. At Gunlom, share in cultural stories about bush tucker, fish and fresh water crocodiles, and Murrill Billabong will uncover the secrets of Gunlom’s network of creeks, billabongs and local history.

Interactive slide shows are often held at Kakadu Lodge Jabiru, Mardugal Campground, Gagudju Lodge Cooinda, Gunlom campground, Garnamarr campground, Aurora Kakadu South Alligator and Merl Campground.

Check at Bowali Visitor Centre for details and times and whilst you are there, you can also pick up a complementary 'What's on Guide'.
