Located on the Arnhem Highway about two hours drive from Darwin in Kakadu National Park is Mamukala Wetlands and Bird Hide which displays the spectacle of thousands of migratory magpie geese congregating to feed. You can watch them from one of the bird hides or amble through the tranquil wetlands during April to October. Walks vary from one to three kilometres.
