Kenya Cottage provides self-contained accommodation in historic Deloraine, Tasmania. Surrounded by lovely gardens, the Meander River is just a short stroll away.

The cottage is ideal for families, accommodating up to six guests. There are two queen bedrooms, appointed with a queen-size bed and two single beds (plus cot if required). The spacious lounge area has an inviting wood fire and there is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Enjoy modern comforts including television/DVD player, electric blankets, washing machine and dryer.

Located at the base of the Great Western Tiers mountain range, Kenya Cottage is the perfect base for families, couples or groups to explore Tasmania's north.

From Deloraine you can discover natural wonders including Cradle Mountain, Marakoopa caves, Liffey Falls and the Great Lake. Deloraine is a centre for arts and crafts and is conveniently located within 30-minutes’ drive of the Tamar Valley wineries. There are lots of nearby activities for the whole family including wildlife parks, maze, golf and fly-fishing. Visit historic villages and taste some of the local produce or just relax with a good book by the fire.

Deloraine is approximately half an hours’ drive from Launceston (34 kilometres/14 miles).
