Mountainside Nature Retreat offer self-contained cabins and a function complex on Quamby Bluff, northern Tasmania.

There are two large family cabins, one with a combustion heater, accommodating up to six or seven guests. A smaller family cabin offers an open fireplace and a deck, suitable for up to four people. There is a bunkhouse that sleeps eight people and another cabin appointed with a queen-size bed, polished floor, thermostat heater and a porch. Mountainside has a function complex with an open fireplace, a commercial-size kitchen that can cater for 50 people or more and a dormitory accommodating up to 12 people. On the lower level there are showers, toilets and a guest laundry.

Mountainside is close to Liffey Falls, the Central Plateau lakes, Meander Falls and only 55-minutes’ drive from either Launceston or Devonport. You can climb a mountain, walk along a waterfall or simply listen to the birds and experience the tranquillity of beautiful sunrises and sunsets from your secluded mountain cabin. Spend the day bushwalking in the Great Western Tiers mountain range or simply relax in the comfort of your quiet retreat.

Mountainside is about 15-minutes’ drive (21 kilometres/13 miles) from Deloraine.
