Bowral Tulip Time is one of Australia's oldest and most beautiful flora festivals, and Australia's premier event. Corbett Gardens has over 100,000 tulips and 25,000 annuals on spectacular display. The Festival includes a variety of Food and Craft Stalls, Entertainment including clowns, music, folk dancers and daily "Talks and Tours" of Corbett Gardens. The first weekend will feature a Garden Festival, which features specialist Nurseries, talks about plants, while the long weekend will feature a Food and Wine Festival showcasing local produce and wine.
The annual street parade will go ahead as usual on Saturday 26 September, commencing at 2pm.
Visit some of Australia’s best and most beautiful private gardens which are open to the public during Tulip Time. Also, there will be talks and tours of specially selected private garden conducted by the owners or head gardeners during the week of 28 September 2009.
