From 2009/09/25 To 2009/09/27

Moree Multicultural Festival was the Winner of Prestigious Local Government Cultural Awards 2006 'Delivering Culture' Cultural Programs / Projects.

Moree is located in the far north-west of NSW and boasts a 'Mediterranean' climate, warm hospitality, great Indigenous cultural heritage and very comfortable and affordable accommodation.

This year the three day event (25th to 27th September) will focus on exciting and interesting activities such as the Official Opening, Multicultural Dinner, Entertainment and the Carnival. Saturday will be the Festival Opening Ceremony with lots of groups and individual performances from Sydney, Newcastle and regional areas. The Opening Ceremony will be an opportunity for you to watch our Moree Circ d' verse (Circus Group) showcase their newly acquired talents. During the week flags from all Nationalities resident within the Shire will be flown in Balo Street.

On Sunday in conjunction with the Sunday Markets there will be a Cultural Carnival, Food Fair, Cultural Dances, Circus and Singing at Jellicoe Park.

Come and join in a three day event to be remembered.
