The Killarney Paragliding Classic is one of the three Hang Gliding Federation of Australia's AAA competitions in the Australian Paragliding calendar. Up to 85 national and international pilots are expected to enter the event and Killarney promises to produce some record cross country flying.
Killarney offers some of the best flying in Queensland and nationally, it has numerous launch sites that cover most directions in very close proximity to each other.
The flying sites are situated on top of Sunday Plains and other sites that may be used will be Carr's Lookout, past Queens Mary Falls and from Hoffmans Peak.
Come and see the colourful display of paragliders soaring the thermals above the Darling Downs and Great Dividing Range.
Competitor registrations accepted from 7th November 2008.
