In July, Mackay will come alive with the best regional arts festival of Queensland. The bar was raised very high in 2009 when for the first time the Festival of Arts went to all the regions of the Mackay Regional Council. This year it will be firing up your imaginations, sounding out new ideas and venues and always aiming to bring you exciting events and activities for the whole community to enjoy. Returning this year will be the White Party, the Queens Park Big Top Tent that will host a series of Cabarets, the Divine Kitchen Concert at Greenmount Homestead, Songs for Sarina at Grasstree beach and the fabulous Royal Palm Long Table Dinner.
