The L&H 500 at Phillip Island sets a new course for the V8 Supercar Championship Series by hosting the first endurance race of the season - a gruelling 500km on one the world's best circuits.

This will test both driver and machine as they take on Phillip Island and the rest of the field in the lead up to the ultimate endurance, the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama in October. The 2008 event saw the introduction of a new format which kept both drivers and fans on their toes in the lead up to the 500km race on Sunday.

This 2009 3 day action-packed event will have something for the whole family. Take a walk through merchandise alley or check out the million dollar transporters and catch all the behind-the-scenes action of the pits in the Paddock. There's plenty of great entertainment on and off the track.

Children 12 years and under are free. Tickets will be on sale soon from Ticketek.com.au
