The Busselton Half Ironman Triathlon takes place in Western Australia, two and a half hours south of Perth. It is the race in the Snap Australia Half Ironman Triathlon Series.
The Busselton Half Ironman Triathlon is part of the Busselton Festival of Triathlon. A triathlon for children, women’s luncheon, meltdown function and presentation brunch form the nucleus of the weekends activities.
The 2009 Busselton Half Ironman Triathlon course takes in parts of the Ironman Western Australia course and is an ideal opportunity for competitors contemplating an Ironman start in December to sample the delights of Busselton and familiarize themselves with the course during the Half Ironman event
