Organised by the Buddha Light International Association and the Fo Guang Shan Temple of Western Australia, this annual event celebrates the birthday of the founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni Buddha, and extend his loving kindness and compassion to the people of Western Australia.
All are welcome to attend the event, including spiritual ceremonies, such as Bathing Buddha and Multi-faith Blessing and Light Offering Ceremony – Theme: Harmony in Diversity, and the chance to make auspicious wishes with Happy Buddha.
The event includes two days of family fun and games events, including a multicultural vegetarian food fair, entertainment, lion dance and an oriental cultural art display at Cultural Square, featuring an exhibition entitled, History on Buddha’s Life.
