Return to Perth

Enjoy a fun filled and exciting day amongst family and friends when you visit Funcats on the Swan River. Hire a catamaran for the day, sit back, relax and take in the amazing views of Perth city.

With friendly professional tuition and high safety standards, feel confident that you will get the absolute most out of your day and want to plan your return visit straight away!

Sailing on the Swan River is ideal on a Funcat Catamaran because of the shallow depth of Perth water (average 1.5 metres). The river itself also lays ground to the perfect racing arena for those adventurous to challenge friends to a little competition.

Funcats was first established in 1976 and coincided with the arrival of fiberglass catamarans on the boating scene. Its safety record and professional approach to beginners and experienced sailors has ensured strong support from sponsors. All sailing craft are surveyed annually to ensure a reliable and safe boat for your use.

All hires include lifejackets and a rescue craft is on constant standby, manned with qualified first aid personnel and first aid kits in case of emergencies.

Barbecues are available on the South Perth foreshore to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner.
