Return to Naracoorte

Wirreanda is a converted farmhouse offering spacious dormitory-style accommodation, located on-site one of the Limestone Coasts most visited tourism attractions - the World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves.

Ideal for school camps and tour groups, Wirreanda Bunkhouse comfortably sleeps up to 50 people, with four, six and eight persons per room. Each room is ideal for a family on a holiday budget. The modern fully-equipped kitchen feels like a home away from home with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, stoves and a microwave provided. A separate laundry and ablutions are located nearby.

Surrounded by rolling countryside, Wirreanda's peaceful setting in Naracoorte Caves National Park is a haven for wildlife. Awake to the sound of laughing kookaburras in the trees or watch kangaroos quietly graze on the grassy plains. The magnificent Naracoorte Caves visitor precinct is just 500 metres away, where ancient fossils of giant mega-fauna, ornate limestone caves and the thrill adventure caving awaits.

Regional highlights such as Coonawarra's wineries, the amazing bird life of Bool Lagoon and the Mary MacKillop Interpretive Centre in Penola are all within 30 minutes drive.

Wirreanda Bunkhouse is one of 30 unique accommodation options in South Australia managed by national parks.
