Archerfield Airport is situated 12 kilometres south of Brisbane’s central business district. Archerfield is a major general aviation airport and is a secondary airport for Brisbane. Facilities include a licensed club, free car parking, paid secure car parking, aircraft hire, charter, maintenance and parking. Flying training and flight simulators are available. A historical cemetery, buildings and hangers can be viewed. A public aviation museum is also present. Taxis and car rentals are available from the airport.
