Hobart International Airport is located 17 kilometres (10.5 miles) from Hobart’s city centre.

Access to Hobart International Airport is via the scenic Tasman Highway to Holyman Avenue, a leisurely 15 minute drive.

Hobart International Airport offers visitors modern facilities including: air-conditioned terminals, automatic teller machines, café, bar, newsagent, gift shop, and public telephones. Undercover and Valet parking are available.

Travellers can access a range of transport options for travelling to and from the Airport and for arranging travel within the state. The Airport has on-site car rental companies, taxi services, limousine and chauffeured car hire, and an Airporter Shuttle Bus which services the majority of Hobart's motels, hotels, backpackers and car rental outlets.

Hobart International Airport is also home to the Antarctic Airlink flights that operate during summer between Hobart International Airport and Wilkins Runway, about 70 kilometres from Casey Station.
