The Wellington Discovery Forest provides an informative insight into the diverse ecosystem of the Jarrah Forest. Take the specially formulated self-guided walk through the magnificent forest or pack a picnic to just sit and enjoy soaking up the atmosphere.

Explore and be drawn into the life and development of the beautiful tall trees, learn how they survive in spite of their enemies which include insects, fire and drought. Find out about the animals that inhabit these mighty giants and thrive on the forest floor.

This exceptional learning experience is located within the Wellington National Park, a short two hour drive south of Perth. Spend the day at the Discovery Forest and surrounding area. Alternatively, stay overnight at one of the excellent campsites within the national park to take more time exploring the myriad of attractions on offer.

Drive through the park, or get up close and explore it on foot taking in one of the nature walks. Laze by the Wellington Dam or take out a canoe, fish in the lake or photograph the stunning wildflowers in season. The Wellington National Park has plenty to do, all just three hours south of Perth.
