4WD, Boulia to Bedourie

Reference :

Bedourie
Another historic town, Bedourie started life in the 1880s as a major watering and rest stop for drovers and cattle. Cobb and Co coaches serviced the town. Today, Bedourie is the administrative centre of the Diamantina Shire Council and has much to offer visitors. Bedourie is 221 kilometres south of Boulia on the Eyre Developmental Road. Approximately 280 kilometres of unsealed road west of Windorah can be subject to flooding in the wet season. Conventional vehicles with caution.
