Rutherglen
Located 265km NE of Melbourne, Rutherglen is Victoria's leading wine producer. There are many vineyards in the area and all the way south to Milawa and the King Valley. The first vines were planted in 1859 and Hamilton's Clydeside Cellars was established after the discovery of gold in 1861. Seppelts bought the property from the Hamiltons in 1916 and established Seppelts Clydeside Winery.
