Purnululu National Park covers nearly 240,000 hectares and is home to other natural phenomena including Echidna Chasm, Cathedral Gorge and the soaring Piccaninny Gorge, which can take up to ten hours to walk. Famous for its banded beehive rock structures, sandstone cliffs and towers of the Bungle Bungle Range, Purnululu has recognised as a World Heritage Site for its unrivalled natural values and geological significance.
