Surfaris runs ' Learn to Surf ' trips between Sydney and Byron Bay every week of every year. You can join these trips in either Byron Bay or Sydney and terminate at either destination. The trips are all inclusive of accommodation, meals, transport, surf gear, and surf lessons.
You can also make your way to Surfaris by driving yourself, catching a train or bus. The most popular trip is five days from Monday to Friday.
Accommodation is at the Surfaris Surf Lodge near Crescent Head New South Wales half way between Sydney and Byron Bay and they surf the best conditions daily within a 30 kilometre radius of the Lodge. The Lodge is well appointed with swimming pool, common room, kitchens and free wireless broadband internet. They are situated in a remote section of the New South Wales coastline where uncrowded surf conditions are guaranteed.

- The trips are all inclusive of transport, accommodation, meals, and surf gear and surf lessons and there are no extras. Accommodation is at Surfaris Central, adjacent to the Hat Head National Park, three kilometres north of the surf village of Crescent Head (home of the Crescent Head Surf Reserve), half way between Sydney and Byron Bay. Tariffs are based on four or six bed dormitory accommodation and upgrades to twins or doubles with en suites are possible. Surfaris has licenses to a greater range of surf breaks and beaches than any other operator in Australia. This means they can give you access to the best surf in the region on any given day.
