Nowhere else in the mountains will you access such an amazing variety of riding country, alpine vegetation and wildlife and yet return each night to unsurpassed comfort. Small groups, superb three course meals, hot showers and comfortable beds at the Homestead, all combine to make this an experience people keep coming back for year after year. Loop rides out each day without the need to pack up camp ensure a relaxed holiday with an emphasis on great riding and client satisfaction and comfort.

Old Ingebirah Homestead, where they are based, is situated on a working High Country cattle station, around 1150 metres above sea level and offering significantly higher riding country. They access large tracts of State Forest and private property surrounded by wilderness. The huge variety in the terrain ensures no two days riding are the same.

Snowy River Horseback Adventure
Horse Treks with delicious food and comfortable nights at a picturesque mountain chalet. Ride through mountain pastures, in high country bushland. Experienced guides take riders along the bush trails, old stock routes, fire and brumby trails, and winding through forests of majestic snow gums and mountain ash. The journey meanders through the pristine and unique high country, on the southern side of Jindabyne, adjacent to Kosciusko NP, trails follow along crystal clear streams, and then climb up to peaks with magnificent views of ranges, valleys and lakes. Canter along the open plains surrounded by impressive mountains in the blue haze, then, wind your way through the bush on tracks used by the brumbies. An average distance of approximately 30 kilometres a day is covered. This very scenic part of the Australian Alps housed a large variety of wildlife, such as emus, kangaroos, wombats, an abundance of bird life including eagles, as well as herds of brumbies and deer. You'll come across numerous reminders of the past old cattlemen's huts, remains of the gold mining and pioneer days. This horseback adventure is priced all-inclusive: quality horses and riding equipment, oil coat, all meals (served with wine), soft drinks, all accommodation, and luggage transportation.
