- Blue Tour
- This is Newcastle Kayak Tours most popular and easiest level kayak tour. The tour leaves from Dog Beach within the harbour and progresses west close by the south side of the harbour. Pass the Queen's wharf area of the foreshore, the Stockton ferry terminal and then continues upstream to Throsby Creek adjacent the floating dock and Newcastle Marina. Pass under Carrington Bridge and reach the halfway point at Linwood Beach for cappuccinos. Tours include: all kayaking and safety equipment, safety talk and instruction, delicious coffee or tea stop and a qualified kayak guide. Storage space is very limited so please bring only essential items.
- White Tour
- This tour is for the more inquisitive and slightly fitter paddler who wants to go further and see Newcastle’s working harbour and natural environment. The tour begins from Dog Beach and crosses over the harbour channel to the north side of the harbour staying on the eastern side of the north arm of the Hunter River and continues to the Stockton Bridge. This is the half way point where thirsty kayakers can quickly grab a drink and cake before retracing the journey.
