Struggle with a big red snapper or simply relax and cruise beautiful Franklin Harbour. See what you want to see, catch what fish species you want to catch. Many sea birds and dolphins are regularly sighted and big red snapper are a specialty. Full or half day fishing charters and a two hour harbour cruise are available most days, weather and tides permitting.

Spencer Gulf Full Day Fishing Charter
A full day fishing charter will take you out of Cowell Harbour into Spencer Gulf. An experienced fisherman will provide tuition if needed, as well as the know-how of catching the big red snapper. Other fish species can be targeted if preferred, for example crabs, whiting or salmon. Just let the Skipper know what fish you want to catch. You will need to bring along your own personal comforts like some warm clothes, hat, food and camera. You can bring along alcohol, but only in cans please, no glass bottles. Book well in advance to be sure to secure the date for your full day fishing charter. Operates: Seven days, by arrangement, 8am to 4pm.
Spencer Gulf Half Day Fishing Charter
A half day fishing charter will take you out of Cowell Harbour into Spencer Gulf. An experienced fisherman will provide tuition if needed, as well as the know-how of catching the big red snapper. Other fish species can be targeted if preferred, for example crabs, whiting or salmon. Just let the Skipper know what fish you want to catch. Oyster Lease Two Hour Harbour Cruise
Enjoy a cruise around Franklin Harbour to view the oyster industry, while taking in the harbour scenery. Encounters with dolphins and many native birds can be expected along with other highlights you won't see from the land. Tour times work around the tides to give the best options for viewing and photography. So make sure to book in advance. You will not be able to book if the tide depth is unsuitable. Operates: By arrangement, departure time subject to tides and weather conditions.
