All inclusive outback experience. Visit Lake Mary, which at June 2007 was full of water for the first time in nearly 20 years and a red sand beach. From Port Augusta we travel to Andamooka via Woomera. Highlights include opal mine tour, looking for opals (noodling), historic sites, Lake Torrens, wildflowers in season and hidden surprises. Enjoy lunch at Steve's Outback Tuckerbox in Andamooka. Operates: Daily, 7am to 6pm.
Southern Flinders Ranges Half Day Tour
This tour takes you out of the way, a blend of nature, history and the unusual. From Port Augusta travel to Alligator Gorge via Horrocks Pass and the little known Magnetic Hill. Visit the ghost towns of Hammond and Bruce before returning to Port Augusta via Quorn. Operates: Daily, 8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm.
