Cradle Mountain Canyons offers quality canyoning tours around the Cradle Mountain area, in northwest Tasmania. The business is wholly Tasmanian owned and operated.
The operation is based in the Cradle Mountain National Park, and takes you to spectacular, rarely seen areas and canyons. Come along for an adventure and see for yourself.
There are two canyon tours on offer. The first is Dove Canyon, with waterfalls, jumps, slides and abseils. This is one for the adventurous and intrepid. No previous experience is required, although you need to be reasonably fit and be able to swim. The second is Lost World Canyon, which allows you to experience the beauty of the upper Dove River. You will take an easy walk on the Cradle Valley Boardwalk, and float leisurely through calm pools and river on inflatable tubes.
Tours depart from the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre.
Cradle Mountain is around 90 minutes’ drive (60 kilometres/38 miles) from Devonport or Burnie.
