The Coach Tram Tour Company provides coach travel in city and regional areas of Tasmania. Travel in an air conditioned coach and enjoy a full commentary as you go. The Coach Tram Tour Company is available for charter with groups of up to 26 guests. In consultation with the company, plan your own itinerary featuring the history and beauty of Tasmania on a nine-day tour. Tours include bed and breakfast at recommended motels and coach travel in an air-conditioned coach with seat belts. Group tours can be arranged for a varied number of days.
In addition to charters, a daily historical three hour tour of Launceston, departing each day with minimum of two passengers at 10am every day except Christmas Day. The company also operates with a minimum of two passengers a half day historical tour of the West Tamar Valley and Northern Midlands. (Departs 1.30pm return approx 4.30 - 5pm every day except Christmas Day). The Half Day West Tamar and Northern Midlands tour is a picturesque journey through the Tamar Valley including Grindlewald Swiss Village. Sample wine at one of the valley’s cool-climate vineyards and experience the town of Evandale, famous for the annual Penny Farthing Bike Race. The three-hour tour of the Launceston city sights and Cataract Gorge takes in the suburbs of Launceston, visiting more than 30 sites and provides a comprehensive commentary of the historic features of the city and sights such as the Cataract Gorge, a unique natural wonder.
