Paul Kaine's Guided Fishing provides specialised guided trout fishing adventures on the lakes and tarns located among Tasmania’s Central Highlands.

Combining over thirty years of trout fishing across Tasmania and many years of guiding professionally, your guide Paul Kaine has the necessary qualifications to ensure an enjoyable fishing experience.

Paul will share his combined knowledge and skills while fishing for wild brown and rainbow trout. You will enjoy fishing alpine waters such as Arthur’s Lake, Great Lake or one of many other waters scattered across Tasmania’s Highlands.

Your day will include, a professional guide, duration eight to 10 hours, tuition, quality tackle including waders and wet weathers, sports fishing boat, gourmet lunches and complimentary digital photos.

Regardless of your ability or your personal fishing preference, Paul will provide a fishing adventure that will suit your individual needs. Fishing methods may include: fly fishing, soft plastic lures, trolling or casting hard bodied lures and live baits.

Our Guided fishing adventures are suitable for one or two people and can include one or more days fishing.

Highland Accommodation: We invite you to stay in our self contained fishing cabin.

Trek into the wilderness with an experienced guide where the emphasis is on sight fishing to brown trout. Campouts: Get back to nature in Tasmania’s Central Highlands. Relax and enjoy the unique native flora and fauna in this wonderful alpine environment. We have chosen camping venues with consideration to privacy, productive fishing and scenic qualities.
