Return to Port Arthur

Tasman Island Cruises offer a spectacular three-hour eco-cruise along the Tasman Peninsula coastline, Southern Tasmania.

Cruise along the extraordinary coastline of Tasman National Park, between Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur and experience the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere. Look in awe at the magnificent scenery of Tasman Island and Cape Pillar as you weave in and out of deep sea caves.

Cruise below the cliffs in search of hundreds of seals, migrating whales and abundant bird species. You’re likely to see the feeding frenzy of diving gannets, albatrosses and sea eagles wheeling on the wind, cliff-nesting peregrine falcons and playful dolphins surfing in the bow wave of the boat.

The brand new state of the art boats have been custom built for eco-cruising, designed for comfort, safety, speed and ease of viewing. Tasman Island Cruises highly trained interpretive guides love what they do – they’ll make your experience entertaining and informative.

Choose to drive to Port Arthur by car to take the three-hour eco-cruise or join the full-day tour from Hobart. On this tour you also have the option of spending 2.5 hours at Port Arthur Historic Site before returning to Hobart.
