Award winning wildlife tours including Night Walks, half day Nature walks, School and Conference Adventures through Victoria's High Country and Yarra Valley, Dandenongs and the Ranges regions, only one hour from Melbourne.

We have Advanced Ecotourism Accreditation and are committed to ecologically sustainable tourism with a primary focus on experiencing natural areas, which foster environmental understanding, appreciation and conservation.

Eco-Adventure Tours are the region's first and most experienced ecotourism operator, and are the Night Walk Specialists. So come and join us on a fun and educational Night Walk or half day Nature walk through one of our venues. We offer walks at:

* Silvan Reservoir Park, Silvan

* Upper Yarra Reservoir Park, Reefton

* Maroondah Reservoir Park, Healesville

* Cardinia Reservoir Park, Narre Warren East

* Steavenson's Falls Scenic Reserve, Marysville

* Badger Weir Picnic Area (Yarra Ranges National Park), Healesville.

On our walks we discuss the aboriginal and european history of the area, learn about the wonderful plants which make this area unique, and discover the many animal species which live here. On Night Walks, torches(flashlights) are provided for all participants and we usually commence around sunset. Native animals seen and heard on our Night Walks include:

* Greater Gliders (Australia's largest gliding possum)

* Black Wallabies

* Eastern Grey Kangaroos

* Insectivorous Bats

* Owls

* Common Wombats

* Eastern Ringtail Possums

* Mountain and Common Brushtail Possums

* Yellow-Bellied Gliders

* Sugar Gliders

* Tawny Frogmouth Nightjars

On our guided Nature Walks we see many native bird species including:

* Sulphur Crested Cockatoos

* Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos

* Superb Lyrebirds

* Crimson Rosellas

* Blue Wrens

* Tree Creepers

* Fantails

* Kookaburras

* King Parrots

* Currawongs

We are members of the Australian Ecotourism Association, and were finalists in the 1997 and 1998 National Banksia Environmental Foundation Awards (Environmental Category), and winners of the Tours category in the Yarra Valley Regional (1997) and Dandenong Ranges (1998) Tourism Associations' tourism awards. We were a Finalist in the Leader Newspapers Yarra Valley Business Awards 2006.
