Gallop over the hills or take a leisurely walk through Mt Disappointment State Forest. Bring your camera and capture the breathtaking views and abundant wildlife.

All riding levels are catered for from beginners to the experienced. We also recommend children be 8 years or over to participate. Our stable of over 60 horses and our experienced and friendly staff will ensure that the right horse is specially chosen for you.

Three Hour Standard Ride (daily):

This three-hour ride will turn the most novice rider into the next Man from Snowy River. Our rides will take you from the open plains through to the State Forest of Mt. Disappointment. Witness the Australian wildlife in its natural habitat such as kangaroos, wombats, wallabies and echidnas.

Mount up times are: 10am and 2pm Cost: $65 (includes homestead refreshments and snacks stop during the ride)

One and Two Hour Ride (subject to availability - by arrangement only):

A great idea for kids birthday parties and other special occasions.

Day Ride (by arrangement for experience riders):

The Great Hume & Hovell Mt. Disappointment Day Ride Ride the Great Dividing Ranges of the explorers who originally trekked these mountain ranges close to 200 years ago.

Mount up: 10am Returns: 5:30pm Cost: $130 (includes barbecue lunch at one of the picturesque areas of Mt.Disappointment)

The Great Aussie Pub Ride Take a journey through scenic forests and fields to one of our nearby country pubs where you can enjoy a beautifully prepared meal in comfort.

Mount up: 10am Returns: 5:30pm Cost: $120 (Lunch is "Buy Your Own" from an extensive menu)

Twilight Ride (by arrangement during daylight saving time) Experience the tranquil surroundings of the country at dusk. Mount Up: 6pm
