Rottnest Fast Ferries depart from Hillarys Boat Harbour to Rottnest Island three times daily, with an additional departure on Friday evenings, giving you a great variety of times throughout the day to travel and return.

Every year, from September to December, these gentle giants can be sighted frolicking in the waters just off Hillarys Boat Harbour. Join Rottnest Fast Ferries for the close encounter of a lifetime, seeing Humpbacks at play. You'll enjoy the best possible view of the majestic Humpback Whales from the safety of our large, state-of-the-art passenger vessel. Take advantage of our large open deck space to capture spectacular close up photographs. Snacks are available onboard with licensed bar facilities.

- Rottnest Fast Ferries depart Hillarys Boat Harbour three times daily at 8am, 10:30am and 3pm with an additional departure on Friday evenings at 6pm, giving you a great variety of times throughout the day to travel and return. Our return departures are 9am, 11:30am and 4:30pm daily, with an additional departure on Friday evenings at 6:45pm. Free parking is available at Hillarys Boat Harbour and free coach pick-ups are available from hotels, caravan parks and backpackers accommodation.
