Gipsy Point Day Three
Temperature heads to 40 degrees so we swam
Water activities are on the cards when it is hot. We spent the day in the river or on the boats to keep cool.
The Sea Eagles are ever present and we ventured up the Genoa river to see their nest during the day.
Heather and Huge arrived in readiness for their trip to Gabo Island with the Mitchells. Accommodation on Gabo Island is in the Assistant Lightkeeper's residence and you pretty much have the island to yourselves.
The Mitchell's tend to have great holiday adventures with a theme. The theme at the time was Australian islands and lighthouses. A new destination is picked each year.
Mathew continues to impress us in the kitchen.
