Lake Conjola Day Four

Packing up and getting directions

Fished in the morning and got a couple of whiting. Cleaned up the boat and Em and I put it on the car together for the first time. This is a big deal as it is a real delicate and difficult operation so we were both very pleased that it went without a hitch.

We went for a really long walk from Lake Conjola around to the next entrance approximately 15 - 20kms return. We both got quite burnt and were very tired by the time we got home. We packed our things up in anticipation for a big days drive tomorrow, through Sydney and onto The Entrance.

In the afternoon Max gave me directions on how to bypass Sydney and George gave me a tour of his van.

George is an ideas man... He has invented all sorts of things from boat loaders, to clamps, zips and a pulley system for his annex.

Everyone said their goodbyes and made their suggestions on places to visit in Queensland. I think they were a little sad to see us go and we certainly found the place and their company very welcoming and enjoyable.
