Australia 'We have to get lost to find ourselves, we have to go Walkabout'

Tourism Australia has jumped upon the anticipation of the soon-to-be released ‘Australia’ and launched their new global tourism campaign “go walkabout” to 23 countries.

The two Tourism Australia ads (made by Baz Luhrmann’s production company) show Australia as a place to come and relax from the pressures of city life.

Having viewed the “go walkabout" ads, our first impressions are in stark contrast to that of previous campaigns as the theme definitely targets young to middle-aged white-collar professionals.

Regardless of who is being targeted in the ‘go walkabout’ ads, if Baz luhrmann’s ‘Australia’ is as good as expected, the film will be a positive influence on potential travellers to this lucky country Australia.
