Murray Cod at Mulwala

Fishing Mulwala is great from the shore, from boat or kayak or canoe. Here's an average sized (54cm) cod caught in amongst the islands in the north east of the lake

wow man... that is a whoppa.. u must of needed 100 pound braid or somethin.. did it almost sink your canoe haha have a good one

:) hey Tom, I need to break the magic mark yea yea .. how about yourself?

Season is coming on soon, with the limits lifted to 55cm we should see a lot bigger cod floating around after a while. I reckon they should lift it straight away up to 60cm as they are doing by December next year.

30 pound braid btw, with a 30 pound leader .. you just never know when you are going to hook onto the big one, and would be a shame to lose it! :)
